CIBC Asset Management (CIBC AM) appoints Sergio De Rango as Vice President, Institutional Business Development. Sergio will report into Carlo DiLalla, Managing Director and Head of CIBC Institutional Asset Management. Mr. De Rango joins CIBC AM at an exciting time as the firm endeavors to offer a rapidly growing suite of relevant investment capabilities to the institutional marketplace. While his coverage will include all institutional clients, he will also be a key resource for capital accumulation plans (CAP), a growing market segment for CIBC AM.
Sergio has over twenty years of experience serving the institutional asset management industry covering a broad range of asset classes. CIBC AM welcomes Sergio’s approach to serving clients in a consultative manner as the firm strives to provide optimal investment solutions that cater to unique needs of the institutional community. Sergio earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and holds the CFA designation.
