The BCI is pursuing a comprehensive executive search for a permanent candidate to fill the role. Once a permanent replacement is found, Rayes is expected to return to his former position as the vice-president of strategic asset allocation for the BCI.
Earlier in his career, Rayes worked at Morneau Shepell Ltd. (now LifeWorks Inc.) as an investment consultant and as a principal in asset and risk management.
