The George Hull Centre for Children & Families is joining the Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology’s DBplus pension plan.
The Toronto-based non-profit organization previously sponsored a closed defined benefit pension plan and, for employees hired after 2010, a group registered retirement savings plan.

“We’re thrilled to be merging with CAAT’s pension program,” said Susan Chamberlain, executive director at the George Hull Centre, in a press release. “By joining the DBplus plan, not only will our staff have access to a sustainable defined benefits plan, but we’ll also be able to direct resources to where they’re most needed — the children and families we serve.”
The plan currently has members across Canada from 10 industries, including Brink’s Canada Ltd., Sanofi Canada, Torstar Corp., the United Way of Greater Toronto, the University of Saskatchewan and The Vancouver Foundation.
