Telus Health is acquiring digital health platform Sprout Wellness Solutions.
Sprout is designed to inspire employees to improve their health through behaviour change, according to a press release, which noted Sprout will be integrated with Telus Health’s virtual care service.

“We know preventative health practices can play a major role in reducing one’s chances of developing several chronic diseases and services that allow users to be proactive about their health are an important component of an effective care plan,” said Daniel Martz, vice-president of virtual care at Telus Health, in the release.
“For more than a decade, Sprout has contributed to improving people’s health and wellness and we are pleased to add it to our full suite of virtual health services to continue helping businesses support the health and wellness of every employee.”
