Lavina Viegas leads TELUS Health's pharmacy operations teams whose focus are on client delivery, drug program management and the pharmacy audit program. As a licensed pharmacist from the University of Toronto, in 2008 she began her career in the health benefits management sector as a clinical pharmacist, managing formularies and clinical drug programs and later as the manager of pharmaceutical strategies, designing and creating patient support and co-payment assistance programs. Viegas continues to practice pharmacy in the province of Ontario within the community setting.
