Anjila Arora is director of pharmaceutical benefits at Sun Life Financial. As a trained pharmacist, Arora brings experience and insight to her role in developing Sun Life’s pharmaceutical benefits strategy. With her previous experience, including over 9 years working in market access, she understands the importance of balancing drug costs with plan member access. She also provides guidance to Sun Life’s business development teams, helping counsel them on addressing pharmaceutical benefit costs and access with their clients. Prior to joining Sun Life Financial in March 2017, Arora spent a number of years in the pharmaceutical industry and as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting.
