Dr. Jeff Donovan is a United States and Canadian board-certified dermatologist who specializes in the treatment of hair loss. Beyond his medical degree at the University of Ottawa, post-graduate clinical training in dermatology and doctor of philosophy studies in molecular biology at the University of Toronto, he has had post-specialization research training in hair follicle immunology at the New York Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Throughout his career, he has authored over 40 articles in a variety of research journals, spoken at over 100 national and international lectures about hair loss and continues to be active in teaching and research. He also volunteers with several hair loss organizations such as the Canadian Alopecia Areata Foundation and the National Alopecia Areata Foundation to name a few. He is passionate about educating both medical professionals and the public about hair loss.
