RBC GAM appoints head of Asian equities

RBC Global Asset Management (GAM) has named Mayur Nallamala as senior portfolio manager and head of Asian equities.

Based in Hong Kong, Nallamala now has responsibility for managing RBC’s US$1.5 billion in Asian equity assets. In addition, he’ll lead a team of portfolio managers and analysts in Hong Kong and provide insight to the bank on the region’s stocks and economies.

Prior to joining RBC, Nallamala spent eight years with JP Morgan Asset Management in Hong Kong.

“As a global organization with over $290 billion in assets under management and bold expansion plans, adding to our capabilities in Asia is an important priority for us,” says Damon Williams, head of institutional investments at RBC GAM.
