Patrick Crowley, chief financial officer (CFO) of OMERS Administration Corp., has been named a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) for 2013.
The highest designation conferred by CPA Ontario, Fellowship is awarded for outstanding career achievements and service to the community.
“This award is a great achievement and honour for Patrick,” says Michael Nobrega, OMERS president and CEO. “He has a gift for teaching younger team members the value of hard work, high standards and teamwork. On behalf of his colleagues across the OMERS enterprise, I offer Patrick our congratulations for this well-deserved recognition.”
Crowley joined OMERS in December 2006, where, in addition to CFO he serves as executive vice-president and chief risk officer. His responsibilities include financial reporting, planning and analysis, information technology, risk management and strategic direction setting.
