Rachel Anisman is a medical advisor at Novo Nordisk in the obesity and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) medical affairs team. Anisman started at Novo Nordisk in September 2020 as a pharmacy resident in the clinical development, medical and regulatory affairs department, where she worked on projects related to obesity semaglutide 2.4 mg launch preparation and NASH disease awareness. She then transitioned to the role of medical science liaison, where she enhanced advocacy and understanding of obesity and NASH in Ontario. Anisman holds a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Toronto and has experience working in a variety of hospital and community settings.
