Jessica Myers is the acting manager of wellness and abilities at Algonquin College. She is responsible for the development of programs that support the college’s mental health and wellness strategy by creating awareness, motivation and tools for employees that help them adapt and maintain a well-rounded healthy lifestyle. As the acting manager, she leads the provision of broad planning and service delivery for all disability management policies, programs and wellness initiatives.
Myers’ career journey reflects a commitment to creating inclusive workplaces and optimizing employee experiences. Throughout her years in human resources, she has honed her expertise in various aspects of HR management, developing a deep understanding of employee relations, talent acquisition and performance management. Her passion for fostering employee wellness led her to specialize in disability management, where she has worked diligently to ensure that employees are supported through health challenges while maintaining their productivity and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
