Jennifer Poh is the senior director of drug plan solutions at Health Solutions by Shoppers. She’s a licensed pharmacist and her extensive background encompasses pediatric medicine, pharmaceutical procurement, price negotiation and health policy. Her career has spanned various spheres including clinical practice, hospital administration and roles within both provincial and federal governments. Of particular note is her most recent role as a senior policy advisor at Health Canada, where she focused on the national strategy for drugs for rare diseases, announced in March 2023.

 Poh’s amalgamation of governmental insights, bulk purchasing proficiency and nuanced understanding of specialty medicine provides a unique perspective to the payor and benefits sector. She holds a master’s of business administration from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and doctor of pharmacy degree.
