Steve Foerster is an author and professor of finance at the Ivey Business School at Western University. Foerster’s most recent book is In Pursuit of the Perfect Portfolio: The Stories, Voices, and Key Insights of the Pioneers Who Shaped the Way We Invest (with Andrew Lo, MIT Sloan School), Princeton University Press. Foerster is currently the chair of Western University’s pension board. He has also written two textbooks and over 100 case studies and technical notes in the areas of investments and financial management. He has published over 50 articles in journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of Finance and Financial Analysts Journal. He received a PhD from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and has obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
