Daniel Sausmikat, partner, origination & execution, InfraRed Capital Partners

Daniel Sausmikat co-leads the team focused on sourcing, structuring and executing infrastructure investments and has a lead role in capital formation efforts across the Americas.

He was initially focused on the European market but in recent years, he has undertaken transactions in Latin America and led all investments in energy infrastructure in North America.

Prior to joining InfraRed in 2010, Sausmikat worked for the environmental infrastructure team at Ernst & Young providing transaction, project finance and consulting advice to clients across the renewable energy, waste, and water sectors.

He is also a member of the institute of chartered accountants of Scotland.
