ClaimSecure has launched its new single/family budgeted rates as an optional funding arrangement for plan sponsors’ administrative services only (ASO) health and dental plans.
The company says this will give plan sponsors greater cost certainty and cost management in their benefits plan.
“We recognize many plan sponsors understand the savings advantage afforded by an ASO funding model, but like the more predictable cash flow of an insured program,” says Dave Wowchuk, ClaimSecure’s vice-president of sales. “The budgeted ASO rates offer the plan sponsor the best of both funding models.”
He adds that any cash surpluses or deficits would be either made whole at the end of the year or rolled into premiums the following year.
