The Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec is appointing N. Venkatram as managing director of its India division, effective April 1, 2024.
Venkatram, who previously served as chief executive officer and managing partner of Deloitte India, will be a member of the Caisse’s international management team including supporting asset classes like infrastructure and private placements.

“[The Caisse] has long been convinced of India’s strong economic potential,” said Charles Emond, president and chief executive officer at the Caisse, in a press release. “The arrival of Mr. Venkat as managing director and member of our international management team reflects our ongoing commitment to developing partnerships that drive sustainable performance and impact.”
