Asif Haque brings more than 25 years of experience in finance and investments to the CAAT Pension Plan. As chief information officer, he leads the investment team in managing a portfolio designed to generate sufficient long-term returns to keep benefits secure. Prior to his current position, he was responsible for the organization's public market investment program. Haque sits on the board of directors of the Pension Investment Association of Canada and serves as chair of its audit and finance committee. He’s also a member of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp.’s investment committee and is a member of Nunavut Tunngavik Inc.’s investment advisory committee. Haque has a master's degree in economics from the University of Toronto and is a chartered financial analyst.
