Martin Gascon, senior director, group benefits, Eckler

Martin Gascon is a senior director and an actuary with Eckler Ltd. Gascon has 13 years of experience delivering solutions that help organizations optimize their benefits spend and manage risks related to their benefits program. His areas of expertise include traditional and flexible benefits design and pricing, actuarial projections/modeling, union negotiation strategy, health and drugs consulting, actuarial valuation of post-retirement and post-employment benefits and managing various risks related to long-term disability benefits.

With his strong communication skills and robust analytics and actuarial background, Gascon brings leadership to effectively manage complex national clients. His innovation skills, out-of-the-box thinking and dedication to clients drive creative solutions to meet evolving challenges. He’s a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and Canadian Institute of Actuaries. He received his representative’s certificate with the Group Insurance of Persons by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers and has a bachelor of science degree in actuarial sciences from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
