Patrick Duplessis, portfolio manager, fixed income, Trans-Canada Capita

Patrick Duplessis is responsible for the development of Trans-Canada Capital’s fixed income offering and supports the day-to-day management of the portfolios. He previously worked in the investments and risk team in risk reporting and analysis across all Trans-Canada Capital strategies. With nearly 15 years of experience, his main areas of expertise include derivatives, asset-liability matching and investment strategy analysis. Prior to joining Trans-Canada Capital in 2014, he held positions at a major pension plan and as an investment consultant. Duplessis holds a bachelor of actuarial science from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He’s a fellow of both the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries and is a chartered financial analyst and a chartered enterprise risk analyst.
