She led a major organizational restructuring, increased fundraising revenues through the pandemic, and established the BCC scientific advisory committee.

Carson is a prominent figure on national and global breast cancer advisory boards and patient panels, contributing significantly to the discourse on the world’s most common cancer. Her expertise in government and media relations enriches her multifaceted approach to patient advocacy and scientific research.
