Wallace is currently the executive vice-president of strategy and corporate development and president of power and energy solutions at TC Energy Corp. Previously, she was executive vice-president and global head of infrastructure at the Ontario Municipal Employees’ Retirement System and, prior to that role, she was the OMERS’ chief pension officer.
“The search by our board for this critically important position was extensive and we met with numerous highly qualified candidates,” said Dan Anderson, chair of the HOOPP’s board of trustees, in a press release. “Annesley is our preferred candidate and we know she is the right person to lead the organization and to continue our mission of providing retirement security to more than 460,000 health-care workers in Ontario.”
