Marc Gauthier is responsible for the oversight of Concordia University’s and its affiliated entities’ corporate finances, including the university’s investment portfolio, which comprises of a defined benefit pension plan and its inter-generational fund. He has worked at Concordia University for 35 years. Gauthier is a certified public accountant and graduated with a degree in finance and accounting from Concordia University, as well as from Queen’s University’s executive program in general management.
For his work implementing an integrated investment policy for Concordia University’s pension plan, he received the Investment Governance award at the Canadian Investment Review’s 2020 Pension Leadership Awards.
