Manulife promotes Pedersen

Manulife Asset Management has promoted Endre Pedersen to chief investment officer, fixed income, Asia (ex-Japan).

He was previously senior managing director, Asian fixed income, and will maintain his role as manager of the Asia total return bond strategy.

“We consider our extensive Asian fixed income footprint a key competitive advantage,” says Chris Conkey, global chief investment officer for Manulife Asset Management. “We believe the local market knowledge contributed by our on-the-ground investment professionals translates into an information advantage and can enhance returns.”

Endre has more than 15 years of fixed income investment experience and has worked at Manulife for six of those years. Before joining Manulife, he was a senior fixed income portfolio manager at DBS Asset Management and portfolio manager at Hermes Investment Management and F&C Management.
