The C.D. Howe Institute is re-appointing Leo de Bever, former chief executive officer of the Alberta Investment Management Corp., as a senior fellow.
De Bever is currently a chairman of Nauticol Energy Ltd. in Calgary and senior advisor at Mountain Pacific Group LLC, an investment management company in Bellevue, WA. He has also worked at the Ontario Teacher’s Pension Plan and has extensive experience in pensions and investments.
“Leo de Bever is a top-notch economist with an extraordinary range of experience and insights,” said William Robson, the institute’s president and chief executive officer. “The C.D. Howe Institute has benefit from his advice in the past, and we look forward to continued collaboration.”
