Darwin Bozek appointed CEO of Alberta Pensions Services Corp.

The Alberta Pensions Services Corp. will have a new leader this month when Darwin Bozek takes on the role of president and chief executive officer.

Bozek, who joins the organization on Aug. 21, is currently a senior assistant deputy minister at Alberta Treasury Board and Finance. Previous roles include serving as Alberta’s controller from 2012-16 and chief financial officer at the Alberta Investment Management Corp. Currently serving in the role as president and chief executive officer at the Alberta Pensions Services Corp. on an interim basis is Vladimir Ahmad.

“Darwin was chosen for his reputation of having an honest and open leadership style, his vast experience in strategic planning and re-engineering government initiatives, and his track record for collaboration with multiple stakeholders in complex environments,” said board chair Rosemarie McClean in an announcement.

The Alberta Pensions Services Corp. provides administrative services to more than 500 employers across Alberta.
