The Ontario Expert Commission on Pensions(OECP)expects to finish its report on time, said the commission’s director of research on Wednesday.

Speaking at the Association of Canadian Pension Management’s seminar in Toronto this morning, Robert L. Brown said the report would be ready by the summer of 2008 and added that summer isn’t over until September 20.

The OECP has received more than 100 submissions from various stakeholders, some of which are small individual notes. The submissions vary from one side to another and he said that the commission will be looking for common ground.

Brown said the OECP is starting to think about a skeleton framework for the report but before the actual report is written, “we’re going to visit the stakeholders again; not once, but twice.”
