The top company to work for in Canada is Winnipeg-based Wellington West Capital, according to Hewitt Associates’ annual ranking of the 50 best employers.
EllisDon Corporation, Edward Jones Canada, Bennett Jones LLP and PCL Constructors were also in the top five.
The study highlighted the positive impact of high employee engagement and Hewitt says these organizations have lower turnover among both full-a and part-time employees, receive more applications for job openings, and experience better business results.
Survey responses from more than 100,000 Canadian employees at nearly 120 organizations determined this year’s ranking, with additional input from more than 2,000 leaders and human resources professionals.
