Workers at 16 Goodyear plants in Canada and the United States returned to work today following a three-month long strike.

U.S. workers approved a three-year contract, which includes plans to close a tire factory and create a US$1 billion healthcare fund for retirees.

About 400 employees at four Ontario Goodyear plants ratified a separate contract, details of which were not released.
