Express Scripts Canada has launched a prescription management website and contact centre to help facilitate medication delivery to plan members. The new site and centre are part of Express Script’s pharmacy benefit management service, which offers home delivery of maintenance prescription medications for conditions such as asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
The online prescription manager is available in English and French, and can be accessed by plan members at www.express-scripts.ca. Through the site, plan members can sign up for home delivery of medications, transfer existing prescriptions from other pharmacies and obtain new prescriptions and refills from their doctor. Members can also use the website to order, pay for and track the delivery status of their medications.
The member contact centre features advisors and pharmacists who can answer plan members’ questions regarding medication information and how to optimize their benefits plan. The centre can be accessed Monday to Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., by calling 1-(855)-550-MEDS.
