Indeed Inc. is cancelling its monthly paid mental-health days, according to a report by Bloomberg.
The online hiring company’s ‘YOU Days’ program, which was introduced in June 2020, provided all employees with the same day off each month at a time when workers were taking fewer vacation days because of travel restrictions.

The program was cut after employees returned to booking time off at pre-pandemic rates, according to a spokesperson quoted in the report, who said the company will continue to provide employees with unlimited paid time off and the option of working fully remotely.
Indeed is the latest employer to cancel additional time off introduced during the pandemic. Last November, X Corp. (formerly Twitter Inc.) ended its #DaysOfRest initiative, which provided employees with a monthly company-wide day off.
