The overwhelming majority of American senior-level executives recognize that wellness programs can prevent employee burnout and employees deserve the best programs. But their companies don’t always practise what they preach.

These are the findings of a new survey of executives by Virgin Pulse, an employee wellness provider.
Nearly all executives (97%) say healthier employees are more productive. And 89% say it’s important to ensure their employees have the best wellness programs.

Despite this, only 74% of polled leaders say their company currently offers employees the best wellness options.
“Employee well-being isn’t just about lowering blood pressure or quitting smoking. It’s about helping employees find balance and replenish what life’s hectic pace depletes on a daily basis,” says Chris Boyce, CEO of Virgin Pulse.
