In his session at the Global Investment Conference, Vincent Lépine, Vice-president, Global Asset Allocation and Currency Management with CIBC Global Asset Management, will identify these imbalances, describe their potential repercussions on economies and capital markets and suggest investment strategies that pension funds can use to benefit.
Vincent Lépine joined CIBC Global Asset Management in March 2003. Vincent is a member of the firm’s Asset Allocation and Quantitative team, where he conducts macroeconomic research and participates in establishing economic scenarios on global markets.
Prior to joining CIBC Global Asset Management, Vincent was Assistant Chief Economist at National Bank Financial in Montreal from 1997 to 2003, and Economist at the federal Ministry of Finance in Ottawa from 1990 to 1996. While in Ottawa, Vincent was also a professor at the University of Ottawa in the early 1990s. Vincent has a Masters degree in Economics from l’Université du Québec à Montréal.
