Ross H. Munro is the director of Asian Studies for the Center for Security Studies in Washington, D.C. and is also a member of the adjunct faculty of The Institute of World Politics. He specializes in China as an emerging market and world financial power.
Dr. Rakesh P. Singh is Dean of NMIMS School of Economics in Mumbai, India and Union Bank Chair Professor of Economics at the Great Lakes Institute of Management in Chennai, India. He specializes in economics and forecasting and is widely published internationally.
Two Key Facts on Munro:
1. Munro is co-author of The Coming Conflict with China, the widely hailed publication that was the first major book to argue that the People’s Republic of China (PRC) has emerged as America’s most formidable rival. The book is recognized by the New York Times as one of the most notable books of 1997.
2. Munro’s fields of expertise include Chinese strategy, Chinese energy strategy, Chinese foreign and military policy, U.S.-China relations and current Asian affairs.
Two Key Facts on Singh:
1. Dr. Rakesh Singh obtained his PhD in Business Forecasting received a Gold Medal Masters in Economics from the University of Mumbai and now has 20 years of experience.
2. Singh is an active member of various committees in India, including the Planning Commission and the Terminal Markets Committee (under the Ministry of Agriculture for the Government of India). He is also associated with Singapore Economic Development Board as an Economist.
