Sun Life Investment Management is appointing Elaad Keren as senior managing director and head of mid-markets lending.
In the new role, Keren is replacing Keith Cressman, who will retire in September after a 35-year career in the investment management industry. Prior to the role at Sun Life, Keren was a member of the senior management team at CWB Maxium Financial. Before that, he was at Sun Life, as senior director for private fixed income, for seven years.
Also changing roles, Jeff Mayer is expanding his role to become managing director and head of private securitization finance for the firm’s Canadian private fixed income business.
“We are delighted to welcome Elaad and Jeff to their new roles within the private fixed income business at Sun Life Investment Management,” said Candy Shaw, senior managing director and head of private fixed income at the firm, in a press release.
“Their extensive background and leadership experience in the industry will not only help enhance our team and add value for our clients, but will also position us well to drive further growth in both Canada and the U.S.”
