Kathy Jenkins is joining the Investment Management Corp. of Ontario as its new chief financial officer.
Since 2015, she was managing director of corporate finance at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. In the new role, she’ll succeed Michel Paradis, who previously announced his retirement from IMCO.
“IMCO is thrilled to have a proven leader like Kathy join our team,” said Bert Clark, IMCO’s president and chief executive officer, in a press release. “She brings strong experience in working with the finance and investor community, including a demonstrated capacity in managing complex financial structures while partnering with business teams to drive efficiency and generate results for our clients.”
Prior to her work at the CPPIB, Jenkins was senior vice-president and CFO of global wealth management and insurance at Scotiabank and senior vice-president of finance at Fairmont Raffles Hotels International. She also spent nine years in various roles at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, including vice-president of retail, wealth and infrastructure finance.
