Mercer Canada has appointed Bernard Mercier as partner and wealth business leader for its Vancouver division. He’ll be responsible for service offerings as well as leading the pension and investment team.
With more than 30 years’ experience in retirement consulting, business development and leadership, Mercier has expertise directing plan and corporate mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and plan design projects.
“As the Canadian retirement planning landscape continues to evolve, moving the dial on how Canadians can achieve their financial goals and improve retirement outcomes remains a focus for Mercer,” said Mercer Canada’s senior partner and wealth business leader, Jean-Philippe Provost, in a press release. “Bernard’s breadth of experience in the retirement and investment space will be a huge asset as we strive to enhance financial security for life for our clients and their employees.”
Mercier is a fellow of both the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries.
