Martine Carbonneau is a trained pharmacist with a specialization in drug development from the Université de Montréal. Over the course of her career, she has held various positions in the pharmaceutical industry and related sectors.

Carbonneau has acquired varied experience in fields such as community pharmacy, drug plan management, clinical research, reimbursement strategy, government relations and negotiation with public and private payers. In 2015, she joined Novo Nordisk Canada, where she leads the national field patient access and public affairs team. In this role, Carbonneau is responsible for securing access for Novo Nordisk medicines and managing relationships with government agencies, private payers and related stakeholders.
