Dr. John Granton, respirologist, University Health Network

Dr. John Granton graduated from the University of Western Ontario in pharmacology/toxicology and completed medical school at McMaster University. He pursued training in internal medicine, respiratory medicine and critical care at the University of Toronto and completed research training at the University of British Columbia. He’s currently an intensivist at the Toronto General Hospital and professor of medicine at the University of Toronto. Granton is also the medical director of occupational health and the lead of the pulmonary hypertension program at the University Health Network. He’s the faculty lead for fellowships at the University of Toronto. His research interests are in pulmonary hypertension and critical illness.
