Lisa Kramer, professor of finance, Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto
Lisa Kramer has been stirring up controversy in financial circles for over a decade with her seminal contributions bridging the gap between rational finance and behavioural finance. She is an expert on behavioural economics, investments, capital market seasonality, neuroeconomics and personal finance. Kramer’s research has been profiled by outlets including the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Business, the Washington Post and Business Week. She received her PhD in finance from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia and is professor of finance at the University of Toronto. She has honed her research skills while serving as visiting scholar at various other institutions, including the psychology department at Stanford University and at the Rady School of Management at the University of California San Diego.
