Randi Topp has worked in the pension and investment fields for more than 25 years. She started her career as a retirement plan actuary and consultant at a global consulting company. Topp then moved on to provide strategic leadership and oversight for various defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans and related investments at one of the largest global companies in B.C. More recently, she worked as an investment consultant, guiding and monitoring investment strategies and policies for large institutional investors such as DB and DC pension plans, foundations and trusts.

In her current role at the University of Victoria, she provides strategic leadership and oversight for the university’s pension plans. She has extensive experience working with board and pension committees and currently sits on the investment advisory committee of the Public Guardian and Trustee of British Columbia as well as the Terry Fox Foundation.
