Chris Walker leads the business development and national investment solutions team for Ontario, Atlantic and Western Canada. He’s responsible for growing Desjardins’ partnerships with plan advisors, consultants and clients. Walker works with his team to deliver needs-based strategies and new services to continue to exceed evolving client expectations. He ensures plan sponsors, as well as their members, are getting the most out of their group savings plan. Walker has more than 30 years of experience in the pension and investment industry. He recently held a senior position at a national plan advisor firm where he managed a team of pension and investment consultants, while working directly with top organizations in Canada. Walker has spent many years with DC providers in sales and marketing roles and 15 years in senior roles in the asset management industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Western University, has completed the Canadian Securities Course and holds York University’s Osgoode Hall Certificate in pension law and is LLQP licensed
