Scott Eldridge, senior portfolio manager, closed-end fund strategies, Allspring Global Investments

Scott Eldridge is a senior portfolio manager on the closed-end fund strategies team at Allspring Global Investments. Prior to this role, he was a portfolio manager at Wells Fargo Asset Management and director of fixed income product strategy at Invesco PowerShares. Earlier in his career, Eldridge held positions in credit research, trading and portfolio management at Tattersall Advisory Group, as well as various commercial banking roles at Wachovia Bank. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and economics from the University of Richmond. He also has the chartered financial analyst designation.
