Gayle Baldwin is portfolio manager of the AB diversity champions equity portfolio and is responsible for covering healthcare and consumer stocks for the U.S. small and mid cap value team. She has also chaired the equities ESG committee, served on AB's responsibility steering committee and is active in recruiting and mentoring across Equities.

Baldwin rejoined the firm in 2019. In her previous role at AB, she was a research analyst covering stocks across communication services, industrials and utilities for the emerging markets value and U.S. large cap value equities teams. Before rejoining the firm, Baldwin was an analyst at Schafer Cullen Capital Management. Prior to attending business school, she worked in M&A advisory and private equity investing at Greenhill & Co. She holds a bachelor of science, summa cum laude, in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a bachelor of arts in international and German studies from the University of Pennsylvania, and a master of business administration from Harvard Business School.
