As senior vice-president, equity and alternative investments, Nelson Lam oversees all externally managed mandates across public equities and alternative investment strategies including real estate, infrastructure, private equity, private debt and hedge funds. He is a longstanding member of the investment committee and an active member of TCC's executive committee. Prior to joining the team in 2009, Lam worked as a consultant and director of investments for several institutions. He brings over 20 years of experience in establishing investment policies, selecting and monitoring third-party investment managers and making asset allocation decisions. Lam holds a bachelor of science in actuarial mathematics from Concordia University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
