Michael Dawson is the chief financial officer at the Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology pension plan. He’s an experienced financial professional with oversight in financial planning, analysis, modelling, strategy and information technology.

Dawson previously worked in progressively senior roles at PwC Canada and BlackRock. He was a past director for the Adoption Council of Ontario, acting as the organization's treasurer.

Michael holds a bachelor of arts in accounting from Brock University and is a chartered professional accountant, as well as a chartered financial analyst charterholder.
