Chantal Hébert, political commentator, journalist, columnist and author
Chantal Hébert is a political columnist whose work appears in The Toronto Star and L'Actualité. She’s also known for her regular appearances on the At Issue panel on CBC's The National. She's also senior fellow of Massey College at the University of Toronto.
Hébert's also authored two books: French Kiss: Stephen Harper's Blind Date with Quebec and The Morning After: The 1995 Quebec Referendum And The Day That Almost Was.
For her contributions to Canadian journalism, Hébert was twice appointed to the Order of Canada. She's also been the recipient of numerous other accolades for her work in journalism, including the prestigious Hyman Soloman and Charles Lynch awards.
