Darwin Bozek, president and chief executive officer, Ontario Pension Board

Darwin Bozek is the president and chief pension officer for the Ontario Pension Board. He has more than 30 years of experience as a senior leader in public service. He joined the organization in February 2024 from the Alberta Pensions Services Corp. where he served as president and chief executive officer from August 2017 to January 2024. His prior roles include senior assistant deputy minister of the Alberta Treasury Board and Finance, controller for the Province of Alberta and chief financial officer for the Alberta Investment Management Corp.

Bozek holds a bachelor’s of commerce degree with a major in accounting from the University of Alberta and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta. He graduated from the directors education program at the Institute of Corporate Directors, completed the senior public leader program at Western University's Ivey Business School and, in 2020, he was awarded with the Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta designation.
