Sarah Blunden, senior medical affairs manager at Dexcom Canada, is a certified diabetes educator and dietitian with a master's degree in nutrition and diabetes. Blunden is motivated by education and communication, whether it’s through engaging in continuing medical education for health-care providers, communicating evidence in an understandable fashion to peers and colleagues or collaborating on projects that bring the latest evidence to the forefront. Previously, Blunden worked in a community clinic as manager of the education program and also has experience working in a hospital. She’s the co-founder of a foundation for improving wellness of those living with type 1 diabetes and is an active volunteer for several diabetes organizations in the community.
