Alberta’s minimum wage is set to rise as of September 1, and Manitoba’s will increase one month later.
The hourly minimum wage will increase by 20 cents in Alberta to $9.95.
Employees serving liquor as part of their regular job will continue to receive an hourly minimum wage of $9.05.
In Manitoba, the hourly minimum wage will increase by 20 cents to $10.45 as of October 1 for most industries.
