British Columbia’s College Pension Plan board of trustees selection panel has appointed Bita Jenab as its director of research and analysis for the college and public service pension plans.
Jenab has more than 30 years of consulting experience and extensive experience as a consulting actuary working with jointly sponsored pension boards. She will provide the board with strategic technical support and professional advice on diverse issues, including policy development, governance, plan design, investments, compliance, member communication and agent oversight.

In other appointment news, Dianne Tamburro has joined Eckler Ltd. as a senior defined contribution consultant. With more than 20 years of experience, Tamburro consults in a variety of areas, including governance, investments, record-keeper selection and plan design.
She was previously an investment consultant at Accompass Ltd. and Aon Canada, as well as a manager of investment research and analysis at Manulife and an analyst at Mercer.
